GENTLEMAN TURKEY MAGAZINE BROUGHT THE WORLD OF BUSINESS, SPORTS, AND ARTS TOGETHER FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE BOXING NIGHT
This year, the Gentleman Turkey Ball redefined modern gentlemanliness with the energy of martial arts. On November 11, world champions fought in the rings set up at Swissôtel The Bosphorus, BMW’s new X5 model was unveiled in Turkey for the first time, and names such as Acar Baltaş and Nasuh Mahruki gave motivational speeches. The night, full of surprises, left a lasting impression.
The Gentleman Ball, which attracts attention every year with its inspiring concepts, took place on November 11 at Swissôtel The Bosphorus with the theme “Rising of a Gentleman.”
Organized in collaboration with Gentleman Magazine and Bujin Fight Club, the special evening brought together determination, resolve, and style under the lights on two rings set up at Swissôtel.
Among the 400 distinguished guests were businesspeople such as Durmuş Döven, Mehmet Nane, Selçuk Tümay, and Önder Öztarhan, as well as figures from the worlds of sports, art, and health like Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, Ebru Destan, Dilek Hanif, and Osman Müftüoğlu from the worlds of sports, art, and health. They experienced a first in Turkey with five martial arts demonstrations ranging from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Muay Thai. Dutch artist Micky Hoogendijk also attended the event as part of a project he aims to carry out in Turkey.
Competition in the Ring, Motivational Speeches on Stage
Hosted by Yetkin Dikinciler, the evening transformed into a motivational atmosphere with a combination of impressive performances and inspiring speeches. Prof. Dr. Acar Baltaş’s words made a big impact in the hall, while the stage welcomed one powerful name after another. Following main sponsor Tera Holding Chairman Emre Tezmen, Nasuh Mahruki, Osman Müftüoğlu, Levent Erden, and Ahmet Ümit took the microphone one after another. Business leaders Hakan Tiftik, Durmuş Döven, and Niyazi Önen also shared their success stories, raising the tempo.
The night, accompanied by the music of Cuban artist Solanch De La Rosa, also featured the first-ever display of BMW’s X5 model in Turkey, which was one of the standout details. Finally, everyone held their breath: the boxing match between Turkish Champion Vedat Kaçar and WBC Turkey, Asia, Middle East, and Turan Champion Berkay Varol drew the audience to the ring. Amidst punches and applause, it felt like a night in Las Vegas. The Gentleman Turkey Ball 2025 was an inspiring night that will be remembered for a long time.
