As the main sponsor of the 5th Global GastroEconomy Summit organized by TURYİD, 1401 Coffee shared its holistic vision of coffee as a way of life beyond just a beverage with the participants. At the summit, one of the most prestigious gatherings in the world of gastronomy, 1401 Coffee attracted significant attention from visitors with its innovative approach, refined brand identity, and unique concept.
Eating habits are rapidly changing, and innovative gastronomy trends are gaining momentum on a global scale. Today, gastronomy tourism worldwide has reached a volume of $1.1 trillion, while food and beverage services have exceeded $3 trillion globally. This massive ecosystem provides employment for 357 million people, while in Turkey, it ranks among the strategic sectors of economic growth with a market volume of 900 billion TL and an employment capacity of approximately 2 million.
In light of this transformation, platforms that address the economic, cultural, and environmental impacts of gastronomy from a multidimensional perspective play a critical role in the future of the sector. In this context, the 5th Global GastroEconomy Summit, organized under the leadership of TURYİD, brought together leading names in the world of gastronomy, investors, and academics at the Atatürk Cultural Center on October 8, 2025. Held under the theme “Intersection Point,” the summit examined the intersections of gastronomy with the climate crisis, sustainability, the blue economy, green socio-economics, and cultural diplomacy.
Participating in the Global GastroEconomy Summit, one of the most important gatherings in the world of gastronomy, with its “Two Brands, One Concept” approach, 1401 Food & Drink delivered a powerful message about the future of gastronomy by highlighting its vision of sustainable quality, consistent experience, and people-centered growth. Demonstrating its determination to represent the new generation of coffee culture on a global scale, the brand reinforced this vision through strategic collaboration meetings with industry representatives throughout the summit.
The brand’s 1401 Coffee Special Blends Series, which appeals to selective palates, once again demonstrated its quality standards in coffee experience by receiving full marks from gastronomy experts throughout the summit with its carefully roasted bean profiles and different brewing techniques.
Cold brew coffee and matcha varieties, in particular, won the appreciation of participants with their natural aromas and balanced flavor profiles. Artisan snacks complementing the coffee experience reflected the brand’s “Plus” philosophy with their handmade textures. This holistic approach, which made guests feel that coffee is more than just a beverage but a sensory culture, reinforced the innovative stance of 1401 Food & Drink and 1401 Coffee on the gastronomy scene.
1401 Coffee Plus: A Small but Refined Menu
With its 1401 Coffee Plus concept in Moda, the brand offers a small but refined menu focused on seasonality and quality. The product development process is guided by a consultant chef with Michelin-starred restaurant experience. The goal is to create a consistent taste experience of international standard in both coffee and food.
Organic Growth, Balanced Scaling
Having reached 22 branches in a short time, 1401 Coffee continues to grow with a target of 25 locations by the end of the year and 250 branches in the medium term.
When selecting franchisees, demographic and sociological compatibility, operational sustainability, and location criteria that align with the brand identity are prioritized; the brand embraces the principle of “growing right, not fast.”
